Token swaps
A swap exchanges one token for another through a liquidity pool. The amount received depends on available liquidity, the size of the swap and trading fees.
Awaken
Explore the decentralized exchange project built on aelf: its token swaps, liquidity pools and limit-order design.
About Awaken
Awaken was developed as a decentralized exchange on aelf. Its smart contracts define how tokens are exchanged, how liquidity is pooled and how limit orders are filled. The documentation explains the design and its risks.
Core concepts
A swap exchanges one token for another through a liquidity pool. The amount received depends on available liquidity, the size of the swap and trading fees.
Liquidity providers supply token pairs to a shared pool and receive LP tokens representing their share. Fees and changing token prices affect the value of that position.
A limit order sets a target exchange rate and an expiry time. An order may fill partly or not at all; an expired order is different from a completed trade.
